Keynote Address

This was taken with my Motorola Cliq while at the Keynote address.

Microsoft has alot of cool stuff coming out this year.  One of the things that stood out to me was the Bing program and MS Office 2010

Social Media Club

I just got back home from the Social Media Event with Lenovo Once I again I had a GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!  Lenovo has some real good computing equiptment comming out in the very near future.  One of the things that I liked was there All-In-One units.  The food was very good as usual and the atmophere was real chill.  the added DJ  was a nice touch too.

Motorola CLIQ – review

Ok it’s been almost two weeks and I must say, this is a solid unit.  I only had one issue and T-Mobile exchanged the phone with no hassle.  The mini USB connection on the phone was loosed and would not take a charge anymore.  As for the functionality of the phone it is simply wonderful!  I really like that you can check/respond and post right from the phone in real-time.  It works great with my Microsoft Exchange email account.  Over all I give this phone 4 1/2 stars out of 5 Way to go T-Mobile and Motorola

Ok everybody, I just picked up the new Motorola Cliq.  It’s one of Motorola’s Android phones.  I must say the Android OS is quite fast.  One of the cool feathers is the ability to really stay connected!  With the Android OS you are able to always be signed on to all your social networks without having to input your user name a password every time you want to make or respond to a post.  This is my third day with the phone and I must say I am very happy that I waited and not jump on the HTC Touch Pro 2 so fast!

      A sliver of time for other teams is an epoch for the Yankees, who define themselves by championships. For eight seasons, they led the majors in victories, payroll and drama. They built a ballpark, created a network and expanded their brand around the globe. But they did not win the World Series.   Now they have done it. There is a 27th jewel in the Yankees’ crown and a peaceful, easy feeling across their empire. The Yankees captured their first title since 2000, humbling the defending champion Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, 7-3, in Game 6 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium.

Hideki Matsui homered, with his six runs batted in tying a World Series record, and Andy Pettitte ground through five and two-thirds innings for his second victory in five days. Mariano Rivera collected the final five outs, getting Shane Victorino to ground out to second to end it.

“They persevered and they were determined, a lot like the ’98 team,” General Manager Brian Cashman said, referring to the best Yankees team of modern times. “They had the attitude that nothing was going to stop them. But they had to prove it, and they proved it.”

They did it on the eighth anniversary of Rivera’s lowest moment, when he blew Game 7 of the 2001 World Series in Arizona. The Yankees lost the World Series again two years later, to Florida, and they did not return until this season, fortifying their roster with free agents around the core of Rivera, Pettitte, Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada.

Talking about HTC Touch Pro2

  Well it’s been a while since my last blog and now I’m at it again.  Let’s talk a little about the "Android" phones.  I am currently using the Palm Pre by Sprint.  The WebOS is really nice, the one thing that I like is that you do not have to sync the phone at all it does it automatically!!!  If I update a calendar event in outlook or Face book or Yahoo it sends that information to my phone wirelessly.

I am considering getting one of the Android phones that have a better keyboard because using the tiny keyboard on the Pre is too small!  The phone that I have been eyeing is the HTC Touch Pro 2 Let me know what you all think of this move.

  After downloading the Windows 7 beta hardware drivers the mouse now works fine.  Good job Microsoft!

So far I found that it’s a very smooth running OS.  there are some small quirks that I’ve found so far.  One of the biggest issues is the Windows Mobile device Center, it does on start.  I use the new Samsung Omnia PDA cell phone and this really sucks.  I hope Microsoft fix this soon.
